Club Seven Menswear Underwear Review. Should you buy them?

Unless you're a guy who loves going commando, undies are an essential part of your drawer. Since the Calvin Klein revolution, hundreds of new brands have emerged. Today, I am reviewing a British brand that is taking social media by storm: CLUB 7 MENSWEAR

3 weeks ago I received (for review purposes) a selection of briefs and trunks from a young underwear brand from the UK: Club7Menswear.

I am 48 years old, size 32-33 and I enjoy wearing great underwear. Although I realize that I am probably not the main target market for club7 menswear, I want to share my experiences. I tend to wear trunks most of the time, but occasionally I wear briefs. A few things you should know about Club7Menswear's sizing; they run on the small side! I usually wear a size M, but I went for a size L this time. I suggest going one size up.

base 4.5 collection

The Base 4.5 collection is perfect for your everyday undies needs. They are made of 47% cotton, 46% Modal, and 7% Spandex. My personal opinion is that the mix of fabrics works well because the briefs and trunks are extremely soft and have a luxurious feel. My trunks and briefs are low rise (I don't mind), but I thought I should mention it. They have a large and shiny elastic waistband with silver/metallic logo. This elastic band is comfy but definitely more suited for a slimmer body. The undies feel really great and are very comfy. No problem with the pouch size, it can accommodate any needs (including mine!)

nylon bulge collection

If you are a man that likes something more adventurous, I am pretty sure you will like this collection. It is made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. As a result, the fabric is surprisingly soft and it looks like mesh. Once again the cut is on the low rise side and the signature wide elastic waistband is still here. I have the purple ones, the fabric feels really good and honestly you should give it a try. With the hot summer weather coming, you should give these a try. The trunk is my favourite one of all the collections.

final thoughts

In general, Club Seven Menswear does many things right. The fabrics used for both collections are excellent. These undies are very soft. Again, the sizing is a bit small, but this is a low rise cut, so this is normal. The main market of the brand is obviously young guys around 18-35 years old, but if you are in your 40’s like me, you should give them a try as they are very good British undies!
