Toppbox January 2018-Review. Monthly Grooming Box for Men
Last week I received the first Toppbox Grooming Box of 2018 ( disclaimer: I received it for free for review purposes but as always I am giving you my honest opinion). Toppbox is the only monthly grooming box for men in the UK. It costs £19 a month, it is shipped every 15th of the month, and you have the choice of receiving it every month or every 2 months. When you sign up, Toppbox will ask you some questions about yourself, for example your skin type, your hair type and if you have a beard or not. It takes 30 seconds to answer the questionnaire, and it will help Toppbox to send you a more personalised grooming box. I personally think that's a neat touch.

Packaging
In my opinion packaging is extremely important as this is the first impression you give to your customers. I absolutely love the new blue box - it is sturdy, classy, masculine and it makes you feel like you can't wait to open it! I know that for some of you, it's probably just a box, but I like and value when a company takes special care of the small details.
What's inside?
Every month, your Toppbox will contain a selection of 4-5 grooming products (full and travel size). Inside your box you will find a leaflet that explains everything that's included in the box and how to use the products, and the retail price of each product. So let's find out more about the products inside the first Toppbox of the year.
Mount Purious Witch Hazel Water by Good Day Organics - Retail Price £6.99 50ml.
This product is simply amazing! Firstly it is made with 100% natural products, it's vegan friendly and made in the UK. It works like a toner that leaves your skin feeling amazing. How to use: spray onto the palm of your hand or on to a cottonwool pad. Apply all around your face and neck (it can also be used after shaving as it will help with sore skin), you can also use it under your eyes to treat your "bags". You will immediately feel the benefit of this water. It leaves your skin tight and looking great. Personally I use a daily moisturiser after because my skin feel a little too tight.
Soothing Cream Nut Oil Free by Moogoo Skincare. Retail Price: £17.00 270 grammes
I'd never actually heard of the Australian brand Moogoo skincare before, but I am so glad it's inside the box. Basically this is a body cream that can be used by adults and children. It is nut free which means that people with nut allergies can enjoy this cream, which is packed with natural ingredients. I have been using it after my shower (please dry yourself first) and the result are really impressive: my skin feels really soft. I also tried it on my face and the smooth effect lasted hours and hours! That's a really amazing product to have in the bathroom.
Anatomicals: World Pore 3. Chin/Nose/Forehead strips. Pack of 10. £7.00
This product by Anatomicals does what it says on the box. Apply the strips on your nose, chin or forehead and leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes, remove and enjoy an amazing clean feeling. You can use it once or twice a week so with a pack of 10 you have enough for the month!
Cool Question: Luxury Deodorizing Face and Body Wipes. Pack of 8 individually packed: £6.50
Get your gym bag or travel bag ready and don't forget your Cool Question wipes! They are perfect to use after the gym, when you are travelling or even camping. They are individually wrapped so they won't dry, and the size of each wipe is pretty big: 26 cm by 19 cm. The box of Cool Question face and body wipes contains 8 packs.
Natural Sponge. The Konjac Sponge Company. £17.00
The last product might surprise but I think it's the perfect accessory for a great morning grooming routine. This natural high quality sponge from the Konjac Sponge Company is the perfect companion for an outstanding shower or bath experience. It will help you with your daily cleaning and it also gently exfoliates your skin. The retail price is around £17 so if you are serious about sponges.....you will love it!
Final thoughts
Subscription boxes are everywhere but the choice for men in the UK is really limited. So I am so glad we have Toppbox! It costs £19 a month but the value of the products is far more. The selection of products contained inside the box is fantastic! I highly recommend the box because if you are conscious about the way you look, you have the right products here! What I like the most about Toppbox is that you get a selection of products that are hard to find in the high street. If you go to Boots, Superdrug, John Lewis, or Sephora the selection of products is limited to the same brands and it can be boring sometimes! I think the January 2018 Toppbox is terrific and I can't wait to see what's inside next month.
