Review Edinburgh Natural Skincare Company Ultra Rich Anti Ageing Face Cream

Personal Experience

To be honest, it's rare for either my wife or me to use a handmade face cream, so this was a new experience for us. But let me tell you, Edinburgh Natural Skincare Company wasn’t joking when they named this cream “Ultra Rich.” It’s one of the richest creams I’ve used in years, and that’s not a bad thing—I’ve never been a fan of light moisturizers.

When you first apply it, your skin might feel a bit oily, but the cream absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed. What really impressed me was how long the hydration lasted—my skin stayed soft and moisturized almost all day, which is pretty remarkable. Plus, you only need a small amount for your face and neck, so the jar should last a while.

For me, with a short beard, I typically only shave my neckline and cheek line and usually follow up with an aftershave balm. But with this cream, I didn’t need a separate balm. It worked perfectly as both a moisturizer and an aftershave balm, which was a nice bonus.

My wife and I are both really happy with this cream. While it’s not specifically for men, I’d definitely recommend it for anyone over 40 or 50. It might be a bit too rich for younger guys in their 20s or 30s, but if you’re looking for a seriously nourishing and anti ageing cream, this one’s worth a try.

Overall, I receive a lot of skincare products to try every week, but once in a while, a rare product like this one really stands out.
